Valerio Cortes del rey brings suit against Andres Paez and Lorenzo for organizing various Concho and other Indians to attack hacienda of Valerio. In attack one of Valerio's mulato slaves killed. Nicolas, indio and Head of Mule train from Mexico City, is killed and other indios testify against Melchor, who finally confesses. He is jailed, and sold at auction for 100 pesos to pay court costs. Court costs are 64 pesos total. (R. Davis) (1975)

An inconclusive murder case. The victim was killed by being struck in the Head with a rock and pierced with an arrow - apparently, a Negro slave and mestizo were responsible. Pablo killed Marcos Perez at a mine. Is jailed and confesses to padre* his crime - also includes information that Sebastian aided him. Trial held. They are sentenced to 10 years at prison farm. Nicolas de Aguilar apparently shot Hernandez de Villa Gomez to death on 16 of February before a number of witnesses. The incident is reported by capitan Alonso then referred to capitan Bartolome and is decided in Parral by governor Enrique Davila y Pacheco residing there.
