Summary
First Juan de Salayces, merchant, Vezino of Parral presents letter to Cristobal Diaz, merchant, Vezino of Mexico City granting Juan exclusive authority to collect all debts etc. Owed to Cristobal. In the letter specifically Juan is given ok to sell a Mulata (female) slave named Bernarda age 19. In the next (August) document Juan is sueing Don Diego de Aguileta for taking the slave and never paying the 410 pesos for her. (R. Davis) (1975)
