Summary
Documents concern an all out military campaign and very well organized raid against Nortenos and Apache Indians. Indian prisoners of the Spaniards play an important role in attacks against the Indian rancherias. Diaries of the campaign give full description of how raids were carried out. Military official in charge of the expedition requests stipends for Indian guides who proved loyal to the Spaniards. Document contains some unrelated information dealing with mission's supplies and military appointments. Brief mention of Indian language interpreters. (M. Marroquin, August 1988)

Indians from el Rosario, request a captain to govern and protect them from enemy's attacks. Governor informs about problems he had to issue his report on situation of provinces under his authority. Report on Droughts and floods that ruined Sinaloa in 1770. Request that visita be called off. Report that a campaign against Apaches was delayed due to problems with the horses.
