Neve tells Peru to prepare for month long campaign against Apaches in Sierra de las Mimbres involving 59 soldiers from San Buenaventura presidio under Delgado, 40 Opatas from Bavispe under Denojeant, 60 soldiers from Janos presidio. Campaign to begin in September. Peru to divide his forces in two and to attack Apaches in Canada de Mimbres from both directions. (T. Sheridan) (1977)
