Summary
A legal arrangement between Juan Apodaca and Maria Dolores Sandoval, the woman who Apodaca had gotten pregnant and had promised to marry. Sandoval had already had two pregnancies, and a deal was worked out, to release Apodaca from his obligation to marry her. Apodaca was to pay Sandoval 18 pesos over three years, give her two Calves, and raise the child if the pregnancy went to term. (Robert H. Jackson) (1980)
