Summary
The very interesting pages contain testimony - through an interpreter, of spokesmen for friendly Indians who claim to have served as fighters for the Spanish since the time of Former governor, Guajardo Fajardo. They provide an account of their battles with the Tobosos and the prisoners (mostly women and children) taken. They ask for clothing, food, and other reimbursement. The governor orders that they be considered friends and promises that those who help the Spanish will be well paid. (C. Needham) (1975)
