Summary
The governor, after giving a brief account of the Indians transported, orders the formation of a squadron of vecinos and Indian auxilaries to track down the enemy Indians still at large. Testimony is then taken from a witness to an Indian attack on the wagon of capitan Pedro de Andrade. The small band (18 on foot, 2 mounted) succeeded in killing several Mozos and mulato drivers. The appearance of the Spanish squadron intervenes and an account is provided of its attempt to track the hostiles, encountering other enemy forces in the process. (C. Needham) (1975)
