The tribes of tacahuan and comanches appeared in plaza to fight Apaches, lipanes arrive at missions of san Jose and Espadas; lipanes from the north arrive at presidio de San Juan Baptista del rio Grande, munoz sends them back and sends two spies to make sure; lombrana and others arrive to speak of peace but commandante general not trusting them takes lombrana and others prisoner until emisaries come back with other people from this indian nation. They later escaped, while escaping a gandul stabbed commandante general who then shot him dead; in response to the belligerency of the lipanes munoz has ordered an increase of number of comanches and other indians from the north to counteract the lipanes.
