Fray Lanusa concerned over use of Indians as auxiliaries, discusses equiping of auxiliaries. 50 Indians sent to Querataro missions. Concerns movement of 29 troops and complaints of their being sent to Coahuila. Establishment of presidio of San Xavier and need for troops and docile Indians. Detachment established at Tivolo.
