Request for fine gunpowder for presidios in Sonora. Request by Bohorquez to clarification of his loss of employment after 32 years of service without cause. Arrival of guns to Veracruz and transportation of supplies to presidios in Californias. criminal causes against Dominguez for murder, autos against marquez, Aquino and maria Rita de fuente accused of highway robberies and being infieles and homicidas, two Indian women for murder and also, accussations of contraband in Nachitoches by a settler of area. Military process against three soldiers from Loreto for having raped two Young girls. Request of Montepio military for widows by Croix. Military promotions, transfers and deaths; taxes taken from military personnel for prevendas and mitras of the church in indias. Receipt of order that widows and orphans of ministero de Marina are not covered in pensions from Monte Pio militar. Promotion of Presa to Alferez in San Gabriel company; discussion of his merits. Receipt of Fernandes' memorial. Nava confirms having informed intendentes of Sonora and Durango concerning salaries and discounts. Appointment of Ignacio Egana as 2nd Alferez in Altar and mention of merits of ment in second an third place for post. Transfer of Ruiz de Contreras, chaplain of Buenaventura. Summary
Concerns complaints of Diaz de Luna by his troops in trip to capital with Indian prisoners. Discussion of poor financial circumstances of San Antonio de Bejar company and necessary transactions of funds. Receipt of dispatch about military positions for Cortesand Rabago. Nava has circulated order on use of everyday uniforms. Concerns pensions for widows of 2 Riogrande soldiers; details of soldiers' deaths from Indian attacks, and merits of each. Nava's receipt of orders during his March to Saltillo; receipt and accomplishment of order to not attack English or other fishing ships nor their establishments. Enriques informs Nava of his illness as he is accused of arriving late to Chihuahua with mail pouch. Receipt of memorial from deputy of commerce in Chihuahua and taxes not Charged to merchants.
