Documents include signed testimonios from hacienda owners and administrators in Nuevo Leon promising to 'pasar el Correo' from hacienda to hacienda between Saltillo and San Luis Potosi, since pueblos so far apart, explanation by governor of how this would be accomplished; letters from governor informing virrey of provincial affairs, requesting assistance on certain matters, including civil military affairs, Indian relations, disappearance of squadron commander, problems created, regarding possible British invasion, collection of a new tax, that departure for 'Corte' and to visit various 'companias' delayed due to tertian fever and several relapses; copy of virrey's statement granting establishment of monthly 'correo' between Saltillo and San Luis Potosi. Warning of English ships commanded which are said to be in Costas meridionales, Golfo de Bengala, and Acapulco; a warning message is said to be sent to Monterrey, and California in order to be prepared. Izquierdo is forced into the army as punishment for dealing in contraband in puerto de Tampico and Barras de Panuco. Designation and employments for ship la favorita, which is commanded by de la Bodega y Quadra in exploration trips. Hixosa is sent to Spain; his job as comissary in puerto de San Blas is given to Ruiz. Concerns problems related to lack of supplies in presidio of Loreto.
