Letters concerning the early retirement of Perez, ship carpenter in Loreto. After 29 years with the military he asks to retire because of bad sight. One year after he writes petition, he gets an answer refusing early retirement and recommending he wait until he fulfills his 30 years of enlistment. Following letters are about pay he should get as invalido. Letters about Pascual Montejano who is in similar situation. Document follows concerning military situation of enlisted men in Loreto.
