Concerns the request of four captains of the naciones Yoguanes, Deadoses, Mayeyes, y Rancheria Grande, for the establishment of missions and the administration of the sacraments. They also requested military protection. Franciscans given control over these parishes. The natives are to be converted and then settled. Notification that the majority of Apaches known by the names Mescaleros, Llaneros, lipianos, Faraones, Salineros, Mimbrerenos, and Chiricaguis have been reduced to peace in the locales near el Norte, El Paso, Carrizal, Janos, Bacoachi, and other places in Sonora. Coaguileno Indian community (37 men, 45 women, 15 muchachos) living for last seven years with Babosarigame Indians at Cinco Senores Pueblo imprisoned at Pasaje presidio to prevent them from joining their parientes, another Coaguileno group settled at Santa Rosa de Hadadores Pueblo in Coahuila, in rebellion. Santa Rosa Coaguileno attack on Parras Pueblo described. Preparations for campaign involving 80 presidial soldiers, 100 Indian auxiliaries noted. List of soldiers, Indian auxiliaries mustered at Gallo presidio included. Causa criminal instituted against Cinco Senores Coaguilenos and their Cabeza allies.
