After Balthasar Rancho assures gobernador Alday Tarahumaras not in rebellion, he describes unrest, especially in pueblos of Papigochi and Tomochic caused by Tarahumara-Pima Indian named Stanislao, who id undermining authority of Tarahumara gobernador Sebastian, committing other seditions acts, attempting to form own Pueblo with followers from other Tarahumara villages and mugeres de Mala Vida y comunes. Causa criminal against his Brother, Nicolas Valenzuela, gobernador of Atontonilco, for refusing to apprehend rebels and send them to work in nearby mines. Rumors that el bagre is Mulatto. Alcalde mayor Vasques deposes, arrests Nicolas Valenzuela and gives bara of office to another Indian named barbolo. In essence, Nicolas Valenzuela Charged with failing to obey Vasques' order to supply nearby mine with Indian labor. (T. Sheridan) (1976)
