Other letters mention fight among Indians resulting in several casualties. Report on novedades in provincias del Poniente such as Indian robberies and military campaigns. Letter recommending captain de la concha break relationship between Indian Yutas and Apaches. Notice is given about Indians willing to make peace with Spaniards and make alliance in order to revenge Indian Lipanes. Series of documents dealing with Indian and military Lipanes; peace treaty between Spaniards and Lipanes de Arriba (points of the treaty are included); campaigns against Lipanes de Abajo; capture of Indians who are giving up their weapons and surrender in the presidios; Indian women are taken prisoners; trade of weapons between Indian groups; alliance of Spaniards with subdued Indians; unconditional surrender of Indians who later are used in mission's agriculture; permits and passports given to Indian allies to negotiate with Indians rebels (Lipanes de Abajo); Indians express unhappiness due to extreme harassment by Spanish commander; Indian surrenders who had stabbed a military official. Concerns conflict of authority between military officials; woman is kept in captivity; Indians complain of mistreatment by Munoz and ask for his removal so problems between Indians and Spaniards will stop; very detailed narration of Indians being killed by government troops who went in their pursuit, indio Tomas is interrogated under oath, he describes how Indians survived and attacked the Spaniards; Indian prisoner gives account of how Indians planned attack against Spaniards, some Indian nations colluded to attack Spaniards in conjunction and trade items among themselves; report on Indian child being interrogated by Spaniard (text of the interrogation is included); diaries of the pursuit of Indians is sent to the viceroy, chart about the final result of the campaign is included here, chart shows number of Indians and soldiers who were killed in combat, ammunition, weapons used, horses, mules etc.; governor certifies the public exhibition of genitals and limbs of Indians killed in combat during campaign; letter is sent to the viceroy praising heroic action of captain Bustamante against Indian rebels in Palo Blanco; chart showing the general military status of San Antonio de Bexar, chart includes list of military officials and soldiers, horses, mules and different kinds of weapons; statistical chart showing population of the pueblos of Nuevo Santander, its missions and population in every city and town; complete review is carried out of the presidios of the province of Nuevo Santander, report about the visita is sent to the viceroy, report takes into account physical aspects, military conditions, troop's health situation, description of the valleys, rivers and strategic position of presidios. Concerning Josef Carlos Rubalcaba who intended to name himself king of Nueva Vizcaya; correspondence concerning transfer of prisoners from San Sebastian through Guadalajara to Mexico; lawyer for defense of criminals named; validity of prior confessions questioned;decision to put all of the criminals on trial together; guardian of criminals named; call for new confessions; new confession of Rubalcaba obtained, similar to second confession in grouping above, I.e. that he got the idea while listening to passengers on Rio Santiago ferry tell of tlaxcaltecan who had become king of mountain towns; Rubalcaba Ladino, not tlaxcaltecan; Francisco Xavier, Indian accompice of Rubalcaba, falls ill, second confession expedited; Lucas Martinez, second Indian accompice of Rubalcaba, falls ill in jail and Dies before sentencing; Bernarda Arenas, wife of Juan Francisco Garcia, Spanish accomplice of Rubalcaba, is set free; defense argues prisoners only tried to trick villagers, not make Rubalcaba king; Rubalcaba sentenced to Ten years in prison at Veracruz; Garcia sentenced to Ten years in prison in Havana; Francisco died before sentencing; Lucas receives one year in prison in addition to time served, but died before serving time. Putting a halt on supplies being shipped to quiscate while giving supply of tobacco and gunpowder to group of comanches and tacahuanes preparing for battle against lipanes; virrey reminds munoz that within his province are people secretly collaborating with lipanes and urges discovery of these individuals; comanches offer to contain Apache incursions in exchange for right to settle near the Rio Grande, tahuacanes, tancahueses, and tahuayases make similar proposal in regards to lipanes; diary of daily events concerning lipanes by trevino - goes out in search of lipanes rancherias finds some abondoned settlements that evidence recent fighting (horse killed with arrow), enlists the help of taguayas(indian) in search for lipanes, finds out that lipanes have been informed of search by other spies who Spanish had been using, confrontation with lipanes with help of indians from the comanche nation and taguayazes who looted more than they fought; renewed commitment on the part of the comanches to fight against the Apaches; munoz cites linkages formed by marriages as principal reason why there are collaborators with lipanes; mentions Castro in regards to resettling of 400 comanches on the banks of the Rio Grande; report elaborating on a series of thefts and attacks committed by comanches in San Antonio and bahia del Espiritu Santo; lipanes send a 70 year old member of their nation to ask military to explain the new hostilities between the Spanish and his nation; Gomez killed and boy taken prisoner in indian attack; gives some numbers on recent thefts and attacks and who was sent out in search of indians responsible. The tribes of tacahuan and comanches appeared in plaza to fight Apaches, lipanes arrive at missions of san Jose and Espadas; lipanes from the north arrive at presidio de San Juan Baptista del rio Grande, munoz sends them back and sends two spies to make sure; lombrana and others arrive to speak of peace but commandante general not trusting them takes lombrana and others prisoner until emisaries come back with other people from this indian nation. They later escaped, while escaping a gandul stabbed commandante general who then shot him dead; in response to the belligerency of the lipanes munoz has ordered an increase of number of comanches and other indians from the north to counteract the lipanes.
