Summary
Concerns relocation of Sacramento presidio because of difficulties in water supply and irrigations problems. This document is a Series of testimonies confirming those difficulties. List of soldiers in the payroll of Sacramento presidio is given. Population of Sacramento presidio is taken to new location and were attacked on their way. Some military expeditions are organized after Indians attacked new place of Sacramento presidio; description of how Indian leaders were executed is given. Summary
Zamora asks for relocation of presidio because irrigation problems. Complaints that protection hasn't been enough. Lack of water in the presidio area is to blame for delay in land distribution for new inhabitants. Commander of presidio of Sacramento wants to leave the presidio where it is, claims Indian problem is solved with many Indians giving up to the Spaniards; he also reports on military expenditures. Summary
Concerns campaigns against Indians; presidio of Sacramento; Indians negotiate surrender but others refuse. Petition to relocate presidio of Sacramento to Santa Rosa Valley because of better strategic location to fight the Indians. Cura Flores gives accounts of events with Indians to viceroy; report is also given about the charity from missions toward Indians (items given to the Indians include cloth and food). Cura Flores argues that Santa Rosa Valley would be a better place for new presidio. Protection is asked for missions, specially for Nadadores, Santiago de Xalisco and San Buenaventura. Mention is given about the abundant Mineral and water resources in Santa Rosa de Coahuila. (M. Marroquin, February 1989)

Summary

Documents show charts contrasting figures of military personnel, weapons, ammunition, prisoners, sick soldiers and war casualties. Footnotes in every chart present a list of novedades occurred in the presidios between presidios, need for weapons, inventories of military supplies. Some charts contain lists (figures only), of Indian women, men and children in presidios, agricultural work, horses, mules, troop's check ups, etc. These footnotes are presented in diary form giving the day and the month of the event. Summary
Series of documents dealing with gubernatorial correspondence against Indians, prisoners are taken, 32 casualties are inflicted on Indian forces including women and children; Capitancillo antel turned himself in after his Father capitancillo Chiquito was devoured by a bear; military campaign is launched against Indians who had stolen horses, actions left several soldiers killed by Indians in a prolonged battle; Lipanes surrendered and went to live at the presidios after they were offered good treatment; report is given that Indians are engaged in a controversy among themselves, situation that would favor an alliance with Spaniards; statistical chart showing number of Indians who are in peace with Spaniards, chart includes men, women and children in rancherias which are named with the name of the Indian leader. Summary
Series of documents regarding Indian robberies in presidio of Tucson and other presidios and towns of the provincias del norte; letters reporting on the recovery of animals stolen by Indians, confrontation between Indians and soldiers left a number of casualties on both sides; raids against Indians in rancherias of Bigotes, Cuernoverde and Bermejo; letter giving some details such as Indians of Nueva Mexico are behaving. Negotiations with Indians held in order to convince them to work in Spanish communities and presidios; letter discribing the natural distrust of Indians when they are offered work with Spaniards; raid against Indians results in some being killed and others taken prisoners; statistical chart summarizing actions against Indians in provincias del Norte. Chart contains figures on Indians and soldiers killed, prisoners and animals recaptured from the Indians. (M. Marroquin, December 1988)
