Brachystegia at the left. Annona senegalensis in fore (shrub), hibiscus, grasses, palm in back, 20 ft. to bulge in stem. All large palms here have that bulge. Young seedling palms below and acacia on hills. [Shantz travel journal, after Nov. 23, 1919; this image registered as Nov. 21]
