Summary
Suggests that problem of lack of gifts for all Indian groups (including 21 friendly northern tribes) be solved by distributing them at Nacogdoches and thus avoiding jealousies of Lipanes. Also discusses war against Lipanes with help of 21 friendly nations of the north. There is a discussion of the peace negotiated with the Comanches of New Mexico. Mentions that the terms are favorable and that only Yupe and Yamparica chiefs did not concur with the treaty. (R. Graham) (1980)
