Summary
Apache woman, age 35, testifies thru soldier- interpreter Gonzalez that Mimbres Apache leaders Nantaneju, Pachatiju and el Surdo were keeping peace and had sent Messages to Apaches in Rio del Norte, Sierra Blanca, Sierra Chiricagui, and Sierra Hacha (Acha) to keep peace as well. Mimbres Apaches presently camped at Sierra de la Boca to hazer mescal. Slightly different copy of letter, same date, pp. 195-196. (T. Sheridan) (1977)
