Summary
On the order of Mariano de la Pena, Francisco Chavez is informed verbally, that he has been exiled and must be out of Alburquerque in 24 hours. Chavez appeals to the governor. In the ensuing litigation Chavez is accused of failing to meet obligations resulting from livestock transactions. Written testimony, declarations of witnesses, etc. Are taken and these are sent to the governor for his determination of the case. (Lloyd Kendall) (1980)
