Summary
Bando from gobernador general Bustamante to Salvador de Santiesteban, Alcalde mayor de Santo Domingo, ordering publication of the enclosed royal cedula announcing abdication of king Felipe V in favor of his son, Luis I. October 18, 1724, fiesta de San Lucas, is set for coronation. Three days of Toros and regocijo are suggested. Mmss includes copy of cedula and order of virrey to gobernador, as well as Bustamante's order and Alcalde's certification of publication. (Raul Saba) (1980)
