Summary
The governor and capitan general issue an order prohibiting the removal of any horses or mules from the herd; the selling or bartering of those animals between soldiers and any person. He talks of steps that need to be taken to protect the herd from the 'infieles Enemigos' - the Indians. The order is passed on to the Alcaldes mayores de Santa Cruz and Alburquerque for public notification. (Lloyd Kendall) (1980)
