Summary
Vargas receives letters from Chaves. He disallows the using of rafts by the people of Zia to cross the River because it would be too dangerous to the women and children and the farm animals. He will send nine soldiers to Zia under corporal Miguel de Lara. With this guard he will send some letters as well. (John Zilboorg) (1980)
