Summary
Diego de Vargas continues to Jacona and finds only one Indian. The Indian says he knows nothing about the goings on and is subsequently executed. Later Vargas describes the arrival of a naked man, Mateo Truxillo, on horseback who escaped the Indians. (John Zilboorg) (1980)
