Thomas Ruiz de Avendano was sitting in his office the afternoon of October 8th when he heard loud and unseemly voices coming from the Plaza. Juan Rodriguez de Mendoza was speaking the loudest and was accordingly arrested. It developes he owed de la Fuente 16 pesos, which the latter threatened to take a patadas, y aunque estando en la Iglesia lo dejaria Sin Camisa. both were fined 4.5 pesos and told to behave themselves.
