Garay requests retirement with rights of Fuero militar and use of uniform. F. 115 gives service record of Garay with list of companies he served in, ranks held, and campaigns waged. Ff. 115 -116 speaks of action contra rebels at San Andres de Teul and the loss of Zacatecas. Important facts stated concerning action at Zacatecas. Number of participants and armaments given. Action at Santiago de la Laguna describes length of battle and loss of life suffered. Number of participants and dead stated. F. 116 mentions Garay's liver disease. Dr. Muns verifies illness and describes it as escurbuto sifilitico. Symptoms of illness described. Cure prescribed by Muns.
