A group of Apaches de Paz under chief Chiquito rebel near Bacoachi. Loyal groups aid Spaniards in punishing them. These three letters tell also of campaigns in Sonora and near El Paso using Indian auxiliaries. There is information on chiefs, rancherias and a very interesting description of some rebel Apache medicine men performing ceremonies from a leather bag full of dolls and idols made of feathers.
